For those new to Quazar:451start at the beginning.
In memoriam: Kurt Zeithammel, beloved cousin, Quazar fan, and all around good guy. He passed unexpectedly- and way too soon. Clarence "Bear" Lawton Jr. Noble warrior, GW Outrider, and good friend.
You both will be greatly missed. I'll bet all of you thought I quit! Q is not dead- his creator is just busy. Seriously, between the baby and work, I usually have 2 hours a week to work on Quazar. I still love the characters and story, just finding time is serious challenge! I wish I could get paid for doing this- but it hasn't happened-yet ;) and, given the choice of drawing or playing with my daughter- I tend to pick my daughter. She won't be a sweet little baby forever. In other news, I would also like to acknowledge the passing of two men that shaped my outlook on the world. I never met either, but they have had a great influence on me. E. Gary Gygax, co-creator of Duneons and Dragons. Through DM-ing that game, I gained a passion for storytelling. Arthur C. Clarke- He and Robert A. Heinlein were the first science fiction authors I ever read- Against the Fall of Night and Childhood's End blew my mind as a teen. He helped establish the love I still have for Sci-Fi and astronomy. On to happier things. If you scroll down you will see the "progress meter". This was done on a suggestion during a "Round Robin" review thing at "The Webcomic List" it serves as guide to how the next page is coming- since I don't get to update on a regular basis. (I never got to finish my reviews- I was doing them at work; I changed positions and suddenly didn't have time!) Speaking of which- last time I said I was going to go for faster updates- and I still want to, but this page was already started in my usual way, so it took a long time to finish. the next one will be quicker- but it will look a little different. I am working on some Quazar:451 related bumper stickers. I thought they would be done already- but my supplier fell through. I will probably just do them through an online, "on demand" company like Cafe Press. Mike, you will be the first to know when I get some- I owe you one.
Send me an email and I will add you to the update list so you will never miss an update!
'til next update,
